Working 9 - 5 definietly then your more than likely to catch one episode of neightbours - so sad i know but true

Not at all - when I start looking for a new job at the end of the year, my main criterion will be 'will I be home in time for Neighbours?'

I'm on flexitime which ensures I'm always at home in time for Neighbours - poor Karl!!!

Just to move us away from the Neighbours theme...

Odd colleagues who sell your desk while you're having a day off, or odd colleagues who completely ignore you?

Why do I get the feeling there's some kind of story there? Or is that just me?

They sold your desk on your day off?!?!?

I guess on the plus side if they sell your des kyou've got a story, but that being said I'd be a little perturbed to come into work to find my desk was missing...

Errr... ignored I guess...

or ?

There's nothing wrong with a Neighbours theme!
But to answer your question, ignoring would be the better option. Especially after witnessing several middle aged colleagues doing Peter Kay type Amarillo impressions at a birthday do this weekend.

They did. And then got annoyed with me because I hadn't heard a message they had left me telling me they were going to do so. . And now alternate between ignoring me and annoyingly informing me of every small thing they are going to do, "just in case" of something unspecific. Freaks. It's quite funny for now, particularly since she's leaving at the end of next month.

But anyway, Spooks, on the basis that it's fantastic and I've never seen Hustle. Unless you mean THE Hustle. In which case still Spooks, but it's close. - I think this chap might be doing the hustle, but I'm not sure.

I'm very torn between Spooks and Hustle, but on reflection would probably choose the completely fantastic Spooks. It has more quotable quotes, if you get my drift... (And Tom and Adam!)

But am still very excited by Hustle - oh the trials and tribulations...

I've never seen Hustle I'm afraid, and I've only watched a couple of episodes of Spooks, despite Kelly and Malcolm's best intentions, so I'll go with Spooks on the grounds that I don't know any better

Kelly was found to have mentioned:

I assume they had the right to sell your desk? Or something? I'm all confused on how they could just sell your desk. They had a replacement lined up right?

And when you say every little thing, are you saying like "I'm just going to the loo" or summat else? They sound a little bit weird...

Hmmm... tough call...

I assume you're talking specifically the Star Trek films rather than the general idea of Star Trek versus the idea of Star Wars (by which I guess I mean... You know, I don't think I'm going to be able to explain what I mean. How annoying).

I mean Star Trek is a much more rich universe, but Star Wars has a much more interesting overreaching story. Except there's also all the other Star Wars stuff, so I guess that has a pretty rich universe as well.

Errr... Firefly?

star trek then. It might have a few humdingers of a bad movie, but at least it doesn't have some git working backwards in time to change them and try and make them "better". I mean the first time it was a nice idea, bring them up into this day and age, make it a little bit more exciting. That's fair enough.

Then he did again.

Or in other words: Star Trek has yet to find anything as terrifying as Jar-Jar Binks...

Hustle, and Star Trek.

I've never experienced this 'JarJar Binks' character and I have no desire to after the mind-numbing boredom of the first three films (or whichever daft way you want to number them - the three they made years back).

Having said that, I do appreciate the fact that 99.999792% of the world disagrees with me. At least

Tough one to call Neighbours was good a few years ago but it all went downhill to me the moment Harold came back but, i have to admit i did watch it every night for years. Eastenders is ok but nowhere as good as Corrie but, if i had to choose between Eastenders and Neigbours i would have to go for Neighbours simply because no one thinks they are the mafia in neighbours and it doesnt have that annoying drum thing.

Belts, they hold your trousers up. I may be slightly biased because I completely eschewed shoes and socks for a few months a while back.

The rest of them:
Hustle, Star Wars [Trek is good, Star Wars is better] and neither Neighbours nor Eastenders. Get that off my television plzkthx

Here is a big one for me just of late

Penalties or Replay????

I have to say replay simply because penalties are no way a humane way of finishing the game unless rebounds were allowed .........now theres an idea

Wow! D'you know, in all these years I never knew you felt that way. I personally have never seen any of the star wars films at all, and in no way feel that my life has been the worse for it. I've always thought that some day I'll give it a go,just in case, but it's not really a very high priority.

So it fills me with delight to encounter others who share my not-particular-enthusiasm for the subject.

Belts. It's pointless buying trousers otherwise.

Spooks.

Stares - it means you're getting some attention (unless it's in a pervy way, hmmm, am rapidly changing my mind here). Okay, stairs, because I wouldn't be able to get up to my lovely bed (and aforementioned duvet) without them.

Bizarrely, I'd been planning to write "Pears or pairs", but then I thought it might provoke "nice juicy pair"-type comments, so I changed it.

Pears.

Oh, what the hell - let's just go for it:
Nice juicy pair or nice juicy pear?

I love belts!
I have a nice multi coloured stripey one on today and it's reversable to a sombre brown if the situation calls for it!
