It seems like it's been ages since I suggested an improvement, so I thought I'd probably better do something quickly!

I was just vaguely thinking about the problem of adding really large images to posts. I don't know about anyone else but I usually add them as normal and then edit the post so that I can add height and width fields to the html.

I was wondering if it would be possible to change the [img] tag so that it still worked, but you could optionally do something like [img=300x400] to include the height and width?

When would this be useful? Seriously, when? Ever? At all?

This is indeed a fine idea. I'll add it to the list.

All the following are now valid for resizing images in a post:
[img 300x400]
[img=300x400]
[img "300x400"]
[img="300x400"]

Ah, I was imagining that you were wanting to do it the other way around - ie from this:

into this:

Your way makes more sense.
