I'm looking for something extremely simple that will let me enter a sequence of chords (just by typing in the letters would be ideal but I know it's unlikely), and would then play back those chords for me in the order requested. I've got advanced software that will let me do things like this with a lot of faffing about, but I'm looking for something quick and easy enough to use on-the-fly with other musicians in the room playing live.

Any ideas folks?

Last shout out for help on this one. Alternatively, if anyone knows of a source of short sound clips of individual guitar / piano chords, I could probably cobble something together myself..?

Sorry - I've got no idea! I know that's not a particularly helpful post, but just so you know someone's read the thread!

If you know the notes in the chords then there is loads of MIDI sequencer software out there you can use, but if you want something a bit easier I'm not sure I can help.

Try looking here http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/

If that doesn't help then I'm stumped.
