I used to use a particular type of film when at Uni (on a fine art course - big mistake) that c0ould be developed on a colour machine (and so was cheaper than normal black and white but came out almost black and white. The prints were slightly yellowy from what I remember... but I quite liked them. I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.....I tried asking in a shop but they looked at me like I was squeezing their hamster. Can anyone help?

probably ilford xp2. you should get a better print off xp2 now - not yellowy or green which was another hue you'd end up with if the lab didn't know what they were doing.

i'd rather shoot neopan than this c-41 stuff but one great thing about xp2 is it has a really wide latitude so you can bollocks up the exposure and it doesn't really matter.
